Haven't made a vid in quite a while, but I found a song I wanted to use, so here goes:
Title: After the Storm
Music: Mumford & Sons
Spoilers: The End of Time Part Two (4x18)
Characters: Doctor and Wilf centric
Notes: I heard this song for the first time the day after The End of Time Part Two aired, and it really struck a chord with me. It seemed to fit parts of the episode quite well, ergo vid. Hope you like.

We're on our way. Weather and traffic good so far, we've even had a bit of sunshine :-). Keep it up! About one more hour to go accoring to Google Maps.
I keep having this feeling that I've forgotten something important. One thing I did forget: speakers for the laptop, though that's no big deal - I can just use the internal ones. I did pack plenty of Danger Man and Doctor Who to keep us busy in the evenings :-)

Snowglobe 7
Dec. 16th, 2008 10:47 pmSent my x-mas cards today. I'm afraid the overseas ones will arrive after Christmas, but the ones to Europe might get there on time *crosses fingers*.
I read the Ten-Martha novel Snowglobe 7 by Mike Tucker last night, and I must say I really enjoyed it. I liked his previous novel The Nightmare of Black Island as well, so he's turning out to be one of my favourite new Who novel authors. I finished it at 2am in the morning, and I got a decent nightmare out of it, so extra points for that :-P
One of Mike Tucker's biggest strengths in my opinion is writing characters and their interaction - even the most secondary ones truly come to life, be it humans, aliens or robots. ( Spoilerish review of sorts )
Hmm, that was a fair amount of gushing. Now I've started Martha in the Mirror, but until now it's failed to grip me. We'll see.
